FLOSS

TechnoSec uses the FLOSS acronym mainly for two reasons:

• to semplify the comprehension of two models, Free Software and Open Source Software
• to keep neutral, since both the movement are widely embraced

The Free Software model is based upon the idea of the freedom of use of the programs; being allowed to access to the source code is fundamental and allows the diffusion of shared knowledge. The Open Source model leaves the ideological aspects concentrating on the practical ones, considering the source code availability and the communitarian development the best metodology for software production. TechnoSec solutions are based upon software built over both the development models described above.
